My go-to backpacking pack for years now, the Osprey Eja is the goldilocks of comfort, carrying capacity (58L) and weight (Eja XS/S weighs just 2lbs 11 oz). I’ve carried this pack over 100s of miles in the past 2 years, and she’s held up wonderfully! I honestly have very few complaints when it comes to this pack, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

REI Flash 55L Pack (30% Off)
If you’re looking to dip your toe into lightweight gear, but don’t want to spend big bucks – the REI Flash 55L Pack is the best deal on the market. This Pack is compatible with REI’s “Packmod” products – meaning you can add accessories like internal pockets you want, or remove features like hip belt pockets, you don’t.
Weighing in at 2lbs 11oz, this pack isnt “ultralight” but at $139 you cant find a more cost effective pack at this sale!

REI Half Dome SL+ Tent (30% Off)
A perfect backpacking tent for beginners and experienced hikers alike. In fact the REI Half Dome Tent is the first backpacking tent I ever used.

This just might be the best value 3-season backpacking sleeping bag on the market. It’s lightweight, packable, and ultra warm. I’m a very cold sleeper and the REI Magma 15 Degree Sleeping Bag is the first bag I’ve used that actually keeps me completely warm on cold nights!
