The Red Canyon Cabins are unique in that every room is it’s own stand-alone cabin unit – that means no noisy neighbors stomping around upstairs! Rooms include WiFi and an in-room microwave and mini fridge. The location is just off the main road through town so it’s easy to get to restaurants, shops and other amenities.
Dogs under 50 lbs are permitted for a $20 per pet per night.

One of Kanab’s newest lodges is the Canyons Lodge, a western-themed and family-friendly hotel in the center of town. This log-cabin style hotel is a step up from the usual chain hotels, at a reasonable price. The lodge has an outdoor pool, perfect for taking a dip after a long day of exploring. And for those traveling with pets, there are designated pet-friendly rooms available for a fee.
Be advised, there is a $10 charge for the breakfast buffet (adults, $6 kids).
Canyons Lodge allows dogs in designated pet-friendly rooms. You may have to call ahead to book a pet-friendly room. They charge $20 per dog, per night.

Hampton Inn Kanab

Another great option for lodging in Kanab is the Hampton Inn. This modern and comfortable hotel offers a range of amenities including an indoor pool, free hot breakfast, WiFi, and a fitness center. For those traveling with pets, there are pet-friendly rooms available upon request.
I’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn Kanab twice now, and each time received excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and I think it’s a reliable and family-friendly mid-range hotel, and a great base camp for exploring Kanab.
Pets are welcome, but call ahead to make sure you receive a pet-friendly room. There is a $50 flat fee for pets, with a 2 pet maximum.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kanab

The Parry Lodge is a quaint historic hotel that has been serving guests since 1931. Over the years, the Parry Lodge served as home away from home for dozens of film and tv crews who came to Kanab’s “Little Hollywood” to film westerns. Stars like John Wayne, Gregory Peck, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra all stayed the Parry Lodge.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with old-fashioned charm, and modern amenities including WiFi. Daily breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant, $8 for adults, $6 for kids.
The Parry Lodge is located in the heart of downtown Kanab, walking distance from my favorite restaurants and shops.
Pet-friendly rooms are available for $40 per stay.

Canyons Boutique Hotel

The Canyons Boutique Hotel is a charming Victorian-style boutique property located in the heart of Kanab, Utah.
You won’t have to walk far for a good dinner here. The hotel’s onsite restaurant, Sego, is very popular for lunch and dinner, and one of the best restaurants in the Kanab area. Sego offers a daily buffet breakfast for hotel guests, charging $10 for adults, and $6 for kids.
Canyons Boutique Hotel allows dogs in designated pet-friendly rooms. Call ahead to book a pet-friendly room. They charge $20 per dog, per night.

Camping never felt so luxurious as the Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch! I stayed at this incredible property, located in a private 1500-acre canyon, in 2024, and believe me when I say I never wanted to check-out.
This glamping resort offers a range of accommodations, from tent cabins to luxe teepees. Most units have en-suite bathrooms (a few share luxury bathrooms steps from your tent), comfortable beds, and tasteful boho-chic decor. The property also has plenty of amenities, including hiking and horseback trails, caves to explore, a lake for paddle boarding, private campfires, BBQ grills for cooking meals, and a sauna for relaxing after a long day of adventure.
Pets are not permitted at Cave Lakes.
